DJ Steve from Maryland’s DJ provided music and lights for our event and was incredible! The lighting was perfect for the venue and really brought our vision to life. The music was on point all evening, and we really appreciated how willing Steve was to make announcements on the fly and to just go find out answers to questions so we didn’t have to stress. The guests had a great time dancing and so did we! We 100% recommend Steve and Maryland’s DJ for your wedding or other event!

Awesome DJ experience from beginning to end. When considering all the different vendors for our wedding, we knew to have a great DJ was important to us. We inquired with quite a few but when we met Jordan, the decision was easy. The entire process was smooth and made us less stressed for our big day. We loved the demo provided before we signed the contract as well as the online portal that made it easy to provide our preferences. Jordan provided great input to help us decide which songs we wanted and when. He helped us figure out the entire flow of the wedding. We also got our lighting from Jordan and it looked great and we were able to see the color and options ahead of time. And of course, probably most important, the day of the wedding everything was amazing. All of the guests were out on the dance floor and had a fantastic time. Can't say enough great things about our experience!

Everything was fantastic. 10/10! Multiple guests talked about how fun the DJ was (Laz), the lighting was PERFECT for both the ceremony and the dance party, and the Photo Booth was a big hit.

Jordan was absolutely THE BEST DJ! Periodt. Our dancefloor was packed for 4+ hours because of Jordan. The way he weaved in our "must play" songs into other songs and remixes that fit the vibe of the room was truly masterful. To keep that many people going for that long was really awesome. Even during the cocktail hour and dinner, the music he selected was perfect. So many people came up to us both during and after the ceremony to ask "where do I find that song," because the music was so perfectly us they assumed we had made a playlist. But no, it was all Jordan. He took the time to actually get to know us before the ceremony, to pick up on exactly what we liked (and just as importantly disliked) so that the music would be perfect. Also, can't emphasize how impressed we were with the uplighting he provided, which really added an extra element to the room. The photobooth was also amazing. Would 100% recommend Jordan!!

We couldn't be happier to have Maryland's DJ at our wedding reception. In the beginning, Jordan helped guide us through their offerings to help us select the best options for our big day. The photo booth and lighting we selected were great additions to the venue - the photo booth was the real star of the night. Their online system to input details and choose songs was easy to use and much appreciated. Then we worked closely with Mike Q on the details for the night itself - event schedule, song lists, introductions, etc. Simply put: Mike Q rocked our reception! He played the songs we requested and filled the rest of the evening with songs that matched with our vibe. He had a great pulse on the crowd and knew when to switch up to play some of the slow dances we requested. Our guests were thrilled and were dancing the entire night - we had multiple people tell us afterwards specifically that we had a great DJ. All in all, I would highly recommend Maryland's DJ and specifically Mike Q to make sure you have a great wedding reception.

We had the pleasure of working with Maryland DJs and DJ Mike for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice! They provided not only an incredible DJ and sound experience but also a fantastic photo booth that was an absolute hit among our guests. Their recommendation to incorporate uplighting took our wedding to the next level, it added a touch of elegance and ambiance. Our DJ was Neil and we couldn't have had a greater time with him. Somehow he was able to balance my love for 80s music with my wife's modern pop. Needles to say, the music for the night was amazing. Neil was also a consummate professional when it came to coordinating all of the music and announcements according to our wedding timeline. In addition, the photobooth and uplighting raised the experience to a whole other level. Overall we had an awesome time working with Maryland's DJ and Neil specifically and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Working with Maryland’s DJ was an absolutely amazing experience throughout the course of our wedding planning journey. From the minute that we first contacted them, Jordan and Mike were extremely professional, attentive, and best of all- FUN! Their online portal was a great tool, allowing us to quickly and easily plan everything from song lists to lighting schemes for our wedding ceremony and reception. During the course of the wedding evening, DJ Mike did a fantastic job of making announcements to keep the party flowing and playing songs that kept feet on the dance floor. We received many compliments regarding the mix of lighting and music that DJ Mike provided throughout the night, and they were absolutely correct. Our venue (Baltimore Museum of Art) included large rooms with high ceilings, but Mike did a fantastic job of lighting them and controlling the acoustics. We can’t say enough good things about Maryland’s DJ, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great DJ in the Maryland/DC/Virginia area!

Jordan and his team from Maryland DJ were truly amazing! They really care about the people they work with and spent a lot of time just getting to know my wife and I, which made us feel even more comfortable to work with them. The attention to detail, music selection, timelines, light selection, fun attitude, and support were above and beyond. My wife and I work full time jobs and Jordan helped keep us on track with his easy to understand platforms and his kind demeanor walking us through every step of the way. Jordan did it all for us from music selection to back lighting to an awesome easy to use photo booth. From start to finish, Jordan made the venue come alive! I am not exaggerating when I say everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. If you are looking for an awesome DJ we highly recommend using Maryland DJ! Thank you Jordan and Maryland’s DJ for being great and being a part of our special night!

From the interview and booking experience early on, to the online portal and various check in meetings, we were confident Maryland's DJ would do a great job. And on the day of the wedding, they nailed it. Steve H was amazing as an emcee and DJ; he kept things flowing smoothly throughout the night, and all of our guests kept telling us how great the music was. We would definitely recommend the photo booth and lighting packages as well. A great experience all around.

Having Jordan as our wedding DJ was an absolute delight. The first time we ever spoke to Jordan, it was for close to an hour as he laid out his experience as a DJ, particularly with weddings, and answered all of our questions about why we should consider hiring him. Since that initial interview, Jordan was always available to us via phone, text, or email, often responding within the hour, and was happy to answer the most trivial of questions that we had. Jordan prepared thoroughly before the wedding, sending us a detailed questionnaire, schedule, and song list to complete, to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. And we met via video chat a couple weeks before the wedding just to talk everything over and iron out any remaining details. At the wedding itself, Jordan was terrific. He arrived early. He coordinated with our other vendors and the staff at the venue to set up his equipment so that we weren't disturbed. He made introductions, provided announcements, and, of course, kept the dance floor grooving for the entire night. Not to mention, the photo booth that we reserved through Maryland's DJ was a massive hit with our guests! Everything unfolded seamlessly. On top of all the things I mentioned above, Jordan is quite simply a genuine, friendly, and easygoing person. My wife and I liked talking to and interacting with him. He made our lives a little less hectic while planning a wedding in the midst of the ongoing pandemic: no small feat. Maryland's DJ has a strong recommendation from us, and a tremendous thank you, Jordan, for all your hard work!

Jordan was amazing! He was such a delight to work with throughout the whole wedding process. Jordan had started with us as our DJ before we had to postpone due to covid. Super accommodating and happy to help us adjust to the new date. At the wedding itself, what a blast! The music was on point, including songs that were important for us to play, and songs to keep the crowd moving. Jordan took the time to listen to our interests in songs and it showed. As the bride and groom, we had requests for BTS, pop -punk, and EDM. Jordan hit that all and then some. All night, wedding guests would compliment the music and the DJ. The photobooth was great as well. All of our guests had a great time using the photobooth. It was fun and easy for all. 10/10 would hire Jordan again in a heartbeat.

Maryland's DJ was a great pick for our event. Having the opportunity to do DJ and photobooth on one contract was so convenient, and the way they manage the contract and let you stay involved in all the music choices is just what we needed. You can be as in depth or relaxed as you want, the team will take the time to get to know you and your partner's needs so they can give you exactly what you want. We had an unusual situation with our original DJ (Jordan) having a baby just a few weeks before the wedding, but he passed us off to his cohort (Steve) who did a great job for being introduced to us last minute. The planning sheet process helped exponentially with that I think, because all the important music choices were already on paper for him. What we had on the day of was great music and a good time we'll remember for years to come, even if it was during a pandemic!

Wedding DJ

Working with Jordan from Maryland's DJ was easy, seamless, and fun! From our first phone consultation with him, we knew that he was the DJ for us. It felt like he understood our musical taste and the vibe of each element of our wedding day even better than we could explain. During our reception, Jordan was communicative and able to keep the night organized with a natural flow. Our guests never left the dance floor once the evening got going, and the photo booth was an absolute hit!

We had DJ mike Q and he was awesome! The dance floor was packed all night long. People are still talking about how much fun they had! We also got the photo booth and everyone really enjoyed it and everything was digitally sent to your phone!

Great people to work with, great DJs!

This company was fantastic from day one, they set up a couple different virtual meetings with my wife and I and we just got a great feeling from them from the start. They are great people to work with. After hearing our music taste, they set us up with DJ Steve Hartka for our wedding and he was AMAZING. We got to make a list of "must play" songs, as well as "do NOT play" songs, and Steve took our music vibes and applied it to the rest of his playlist. We added the photo booth which was a huge hit with us and with the guests. These DJs know how to read the room and play the type of music that will get guests on the dance floor and stay on the dance floor. Thank you for a great event!

I have nothing but good things to say about Maryland’s DJ and Jordan (great guy!). One of my favorite things about Maryland DJ, is their super fun photo booth which we’ve had at multiple special family celebrations. One of the photo booth settings “boomerang” makes for some legendary memories. (And somehow always makes everyone look good). In fact, one time we took a photo booth boomerang collage with my Grammy’s walker, doing fun dances, and it was quite hilarious. All in all, 1000% would recommend!
