We could not have asked for a better DJ company to work with for our wedding! Having a short engagement of 5 months was super stressful, but Jordan and Steve made choosing our perfect DJ a dream! From the initial meeting, consults, to planning- the process was fun and easy. We had an absolute BLAST partying with Marylands DJ and would choose them again in a heart beat!

We had an amazing experience with our DJ Mike Q. Before we even chose to hire Maryland's DJ, he invited us out to see him perform which we HIGHLY recommend to any couple looking for a DJ. We got to see his style and read the energy in the room. Our wedding reception could not have gone any smoother. He checked in with us before and after big moments and made sure we were comfortable at all times (including being down to cut some dances short if needed). We really appreciated this because being in front of hundreds of people can be a LOT. His MC skills are top tier and the dance floor was PACKED ALL NIGHT LONG! He played all of our special requests and built off the list we gave him perfectly, even taking requests from our guests. He started amping up the energy during dinner so by the time the dance floor opened everyone was ready to party. We are still getting complements from guests about the music and atmosphere of the reception, thanks to our awesome DJ. THANK YOU SO MUCH MIKE Q!!!

Made Our Wedding Day Spectacular!

Oh my gosh, our DJ, Harvey, was a 10 on everything!!! And the photo booth turned out better than I expected. It was amazing working with Harvey, he was basically our wedding coordinator! Everyone complimented his dj skills and my husband and I loved his transitions and making sure that we're still on schedule or if anything needed to be changed around due to time.

DJ Harvey was an excellent DJ for our wedding and had the dance floor going all night! He was super reliable and really proactive in the planning stages of the wedding so we knew we were in safe hands. Right balance of flexible with our requests but skilled in picking the right music and mixes for the right time to keep party going. Would highly recommend DJ Harvey to anyone planning a wedding.

Steve at Maryland's DJ was phenomenal. He was very personable and made an effort to get a sense of our expectations before our wedding. The communication before our event went a long way to ease all of my concerns on the day of. When the time for dancing came, the energy level was excellent and the vibe was perfect throughout the night.

I couldn’t say enough good things about Maryland’s DJ. The entire process was simple. The first thing we did was a phone call with Jordan who was super sweet and really listened to what we wanted. I had known DJ Ryan Carr previously and found that he worked with Maryland’s DJ so I had asked if we could request him. Thankfully he was available and then a second call was set up for us to meet with the DJ and get a little more specific as to what we wanted. They also provide a website that you fill out timeline forms and music playlists at your pace. The website was really cool because we got to organize songs in categories such as must play, please try to play and absolutely do not play. This really helped solidify what vibes we wanted. Personally we picked maybe a total of 10 songs for this entire playlist as we wanted the DJ to do his thing. Come the wedding, DJ Ryan C and MC Rob were amazing! All of our family was dancing at some point and loved the energy they both brought. The MC was on the dance floor dancing with my cousins and really made the event such a good time. We also rented their photo booth which was an awesome addition. Everyone in the family loved this, including grandmoms! There is no doubt in my mind that I would book with them again for any event!

Our Wedding

We absolutely loved working with Jordan for our wedding event a couple of years ago! He was very easy to get in touch with and was always available to answer any questions we had. He really personalized our event and made sure to get everyone on the dance floor! He was very energetic and truly helped make our wedding day so much fun! We received so many compliments from all of our guests when it came to the music and fun experience! He is for sure our number one recommendation to anyone who asks us for a DJ!

My sole goal in finding the perfect DJ was someone who was open to ideas but had experienced suggestions to make the perfect day. From the very start, Jordan guided us in the right direction. Jordan took care of every aspect of entertainment for our big day and made it so that I didn't have to worry about a single thing! Maryland's DJ offered competitive pricing, with mix and match service flexibility, and their DJ was very easy going and great to work with, checking in 30 days before, 1 week before, and helping to give suggestions when I was at a loss for songs.. He also played awesome, NOT CHEESY music at the wedding, which I LOVED! Would definitely hire them again!

Jordan was great! He listened to us and wanted to get to know us as a couple. He then crafted a mix of songs that fit our tastes, personalities, and the event we were planning. Nothing was pre-mixed as he did everything on the spot. Truly a talented DJ! We got so many compliments on how good he was after our wedding from our guests!

Our DJ, Brian, was incredible! He was very receptive to our wishes on our wedding day and made sure everything flowed perfectly. He excelled at making sure there was always open communication about what he needed from us and tailoring the song choices to our needs. He was able to read the room to help keep the energy up and make sure everyone was singing and dancing their hearts out on our wedding dance floor! The only issue we had with Maryland's DJ was that the backdrop we chose for our photo booth is not the one that arrived on our wedding day. In the grand scheme of things, this was not the worst thing that could have happened. All in all, we are very pleased with Maryland's DJ and a huge THANK YOU to Brian for keeping a packed dance floor and making our wedding day perfect!

Our dance floor was PACKED!

Our wedding was such a blast, people still talk about how much fun they had on the dance floor! Steve was also super easy to work with, he understood what style we were going for and kept everyone partying all night long!

Steve was great, he really listened to us as a couple and our style. He definitely has a great ability to switch the song if it’s not vibing with the crowd and will put on something that will get everyone dancing. Would definitely recommend him!

I've used Maryland's DJ for the last two years for our company's corporate holiday party, and if I was getting married in the DC area, I would absolutely hire them for my wedding. Steve DJ’d our wedding in June and people are still talking about it over six months later! Everyone says it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. I really don’t even know where to start. We have not stopped receiving messages from friends and family about how much of a blast they had. Best Wedding DJ EVER

Maryland’s DJ and DJ Jordan put together the best performance for us on our special day. The dance floor was packed 24/7, you couldn’t sit if you tried. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We worked with Jordan for our wedding and my legs are still sore from never having left the dance floor. Jordan was involved in every stage of our planning process and made himself readily available for any questions, concerns, or random additions. He was even prepared for changes we needed to make on the fly, day of during the celebration. He read the room throughout the night and kept the dance floor packed and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect night; due in large part to Jordan and his team. If you need a DJ for an event you have coming up, there is really only one option in Maryland's DJ. The name of the company is fitting because they are by far "THE" Maryland's DJ and not just "A" DJ in Maryland

Maryland's DJ was professional and reliable, and super responsive to emails. We worked with Alex who was awesome! It was super easy-we made a playlist on Spotify of the type of songs we wanted and he went with it. Our dance floor was so fun and was exactly what we had envisioned. DJ Deficit (Ryan) made our wedding experience from walking down the aisle, to entertaining our guests memorable. Leading up to our wedding he made himself available and made suggestions for our big day. I knew with Ryan, we would. It have to worry about the music on our big day. He was flawless and the guests loved him! I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ.

The first time we met Jordan was to experience him DJ and mixing music live for us. He listened to our likes, dislikes and knew how to transition the songs and make song we thought we liked even cooler! From this experience we had the opportunity to see his amazing talents, most DJs could only dream of. He was always quick to email with follow ups, ideas, and always open to meet. Our goal was to dance the whole time at our reception. Though this is usually unheard of, we asked Jordan for little to no classic songs and to just play what we like. Not only did he get us to dance the whole time but NO ONE (literally no one) left the dance floor from my 15 year old cousins to my 93 year old great aunt. Jordan not only DJed but was an amazingly thoughtful MC. He checked in with us during the night and if there was momentum on the dance floor he asked us if we wanted to do what was scheduled for that time or keep the party going. Jordan also took care of the equipment we needed for the ceremony which was a huge help knowing that we could get everything we needed from one vendor we trusted. Jordan made our wedding exactly how we envisioned it being and I would hire him for any big event I have. He is thoughtful, professional and undoubtedly talented.

Maryland's DJ was fantastic from start to finish. They were extremely fast in responding to my request, beat everyone by at least 30 minutes! Their presentation of who they are and what they do well, and what separates them from other DJ's was clean and crisp. Steve was a fantastic DJ. We used him for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We got tons of compliments about the music he was playing and how he was able to keep everyone on the dance floor. I'd highly recommend using Maryland's DJ!!

Our experience with Maryland’s DJ was incredible from the beginning! We met with a rep virtually who led us through an extensive presentation of all they had to offer. He asked us about our vibe and matched us with one of their DJs accordingly. Then we met with our DJ Jamaal. They have an awesome portal where you add in all of your music requests, even when to fade out, etc. We had a meeting with Jamaal a month out and he was very flexible with all of our last minute changes. We 100% recommend Maryland’s DJ for anyone looking for a fun, professional, company to work with.

Outstanding Professionals

Amazing team walked us through the whole process. Steve, our DJ was perfect. Flexible with meetings, willing to offer advice and experience, confident and reassuring. He was professional, approachable, and there were no hiccups. I’ve never seen a dance floor at a wedding so reliably full, never a lull or a bad choice. Everyone loved him and commented on how awesome he was. He turned our requests and visions into something perfect.

Our DJ (Thiery Banks) was outstanding. Every communication we had leading up to the wedding was professional but also personal. He was flexible about which portions of the wedding we defined completely and which portions he would run autonomously based on our tastes (collected through our phone conversations and the songs we submitted as must-play or by request). He kept people engaged and having fun all night! If you can book Thiery, absolutely do so!! By contrast, our dealings with Jordan Solander (owner of Maryland’s DJ) were terrible. He did not show up for scheduled calls, forgot all about us, and was generally unpleasant to work with. But that’s nothing compared to the scammy way our contract was handled. In January, Jordan sent us a contract with a total cost of $3200. We signed the contract and were required to pay 50% upfront, so we immediately sent a check for $1600. The remainder was due 30 days before the wedding, so we again paid $1600 on that date. Several days later, Jordan emailed and said we hadn’t paid our full bill and that we owed $1200. We replied with our contract, showing an agreed price of $3200 and evidence of two payments totaling $3200. Jordan wrote back and claimed that he’d made a mistake in the contract and that it should have been $1200 higher in order to get the Photo Booth option we’d discussed and which was promised in our contract. We asked him to uphold his end of the signed contract, and he refused. In further discussions, he mentioned that he’d had this problem multiple times with other clients. If he’d contacted us immediately in January and said, “This payment is not 50% of the total,” we would have had time to consider whether we would accept a contract at $4400. Because Jordan waited until just a few weeks before our wedding, we had no choice but to keep our contract for the DJ but get a photo booth from another vendor. Since he admitted that he’s done this multiple times, Jordan is either negligent in addressing a known issue or scamming people for more money by springing additional charges on them when the wedding is imminent. The latter seems far more likely to me, given Jordan’s overall demeanor and lack of professionalism. I would absolutely hire Thiery Banks again as a DJ, but only if I could book him directly or through another company. I would never do business again with Jordan Solander.

Best D.J. Ever!

We had Steve responsible for our music and he killed it! He had a great line up of songs the whole night. If my husband or I requested a song, Steve had it ready to go next for us. We can’t thank him enough!

What really sold me on Maryland's DJ was the online planning system! As a Type A individual, having access to such a thorough system to help with planning was so helpful! DJ Steve did an amazing job of keeping everyone on our dance floor and accommodating guest requests! Jordan was professional and helpful along the way! I am so glad our videographer, Swehland Productions, recommend y'all to us!

Maryland’s DJ was INCREDIBLE. Before our event, there was really good communication from everyone on the team, including the automated reminder emails, personal emails, and our original intake. We really liked that we had so many options of DJs to choose from, too. We also really liked the portal and how we could sort through/choose songs in there. Neil, who actually worked our event, was the absolute best. He met with us several times to make sure things were just right. He matched our vibe and kept people on the dance floor throughout the night. The transitions between songs were awesome. He was a guiding presence to the guests and kept the spotlight on us. People said music was one of the best parts of our wedding. Can’t recommend Maryland’s DJ enough!

Totally awesome

We hired Steve to provide music and entertainment for our reception and ensuing dance party. I would say that working with Steve, and his performance at the reception, was the absolute highlight of our entire wedding. From our first conversation, I could tell that Steve was fully on board with our plan to have a progressive/electro house dance party. We provided some songs as inspiration, and he gave us a live demo at his office, demonstrating his mixing style as well as other songs he’d found to match our taste. He accommodated my mom’s insistence on using a medley of Prince songs for the mother/son dance, and he transitioned from that into his DJ set absolutely flawlessly. I will never forget standing in the middle of the dance floor with my now-wife, surrounded by our friends, as the final guitar solo of “Let’s Go Crazy” played out, ending with Steve announcing “Your dance floor is now open!”, immediately followed by the drop of “Feel So Close” (Calvin Harris). People went nuts and it was awesome. Additionally, Steve is just an all around fun guy to talk to and work with. He gets my highest recommendation.

Working with Jordan from Maryland's DJ was easy, seamless, and fun! From our first phone consultation with him, we knew that he was the DJ for us. It felt like he understood our musical taste and the vibe of each element of our wedding day even better than we could explain. Best part of wedding planning

The best part of wedding planning was working with Jordan. He was extremely flexible with his time and was able to walk us through the event process. Their planning portal and online forms were fantastic tools that helped us create great atmosphere for the entire wedding (ceremony through reception).

Surpassed our highest expecations!

Our wedding reception with Ryan as our DJ was absolutely perfect. He was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and communicative with us in the weeks leading up to the event, he was thorough in his timeline and realistic about possible time restrictions for our unique requests, and he was committed to correctly presenting introductions, toasts, etc. Besides his competent organization and professionalism, where Ryan truly impressed us was the night's playlist itself. We had submitted a large library of songs we wanted to hear and discussed our particular tastes with him, and his ability to take those wishes and translate them into a dance party was unparalleled. He hit all of our most important notes (I firmly believe that every wedding needs "Tubthumping") and impressed a multi-generational guest list with selections from the 70s and 80s, seamlessly transitioning to modern hits. He consistently responded to the crowd's energy and had us dancing our asses off from the moment the dance party started to the very end of the night. Our guests are still raving about some of his inventive mixes (Ask him about his mashup of "Feel Good Inc." and "Toxic", or his Backstreet Boys medley intercut with "Turn Down For What"). Ryan surpassed all of our expectations and was integral to what was easily the best night of our lives.

Marylands DJs was great to work with from start to finish. I really enjoyed my consult call with Taylor who matched us up with our DJ Steve. Steve made the entire process super easy, seamless, & not stressful! He was a perfect match for us. We loved how chill he was. His personality is great & he is extremely knowledgable when it comes to music. Our wedding was a hit, our dance floor was packed & he navigated the requests he knew we would not like perfectly. Choosing Maryland’s DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Between the multiple conversations and the easy-to-navigate online portal, we were able to communicate with Steven (our DJ) exactly what we wanted our day to look like, and he made our dreams come true! Working with Maryland's DJ was great from Day 1. From the initial contact and discussions with Taylor and Steve about the vision for our night, we knew that we were in good hands. We had some issues with USPS and check delivery/cashing, but they quickly worked out a solution with us as soon as issues were discovered. Even with a diverse music taste and a wide age range, Steve kept the dance floor hopping from start to finish. He was even able to adjust on the fly to my wedding party's last-minute entrance changes. Our guests RAVED about the music and I can't recommend Steve and the team enough for any occasion. Incredible service, even better music

Maryland's DJ absolutely nailed our wedding, no other way to describe it.  DJ Mebaa stepped in to DJ our ceremony and reception as a last minute change in plans; my wife and I felt supported and in good hands the whole time as a result of Maryland's DJ's planning and attention to detail. Mebaa, with only a few days notice, played all ceremony songs perfectly, timing choruses/special parts of songs perfectly with the arrival of the wedding party/the bride as they walked down the aisle.  The reception was an all out blast - Mebaa read the room perfectly, following one banger with another and keeping jaws dropped the whole night with great songs.  He also surprised my wife and I with a special last song dance to a song that we adored. I would highly recommend Maryland's DJ, and Mebaa specifically.  They made our special day the best it possibly could be, and know how to please their clients, no matter what circumstances arise.  Aside from my wife and I, we had almost everyone we interacted with on the dance floor comment on how good the DJ music and service was - we are so glad we went with DJ over live band!

Truly the BEST! Steve was incredible! He worked with us to make an epic dance list that kept our guests dancing all night (including bride's favorite's like Ultimate from Freaky Friday, Miracles Happen from Princess Diaries!, and Year 3000!) - every DCOM child's dreams! He was able to read the dance floor and adjust accordingly - giving all his efforts and talents - not just picking a list a running with it! It was a blast! He even came to our after-party and chowed down on pizza with us! A fun guy all around and planning to attend his many other events around Baltimore!

Best night ever!!

Jordan does amazing work! He knew when the time was to play certain songs and once the party started it never stopped! The way he has his program set up makes it so easy to customize and to keep track of everything that’s going by having everything detailed down to the smallest thing. He made it really simple and hassle free which is what we really needed. If you need someone in charge of your party and to make sure you and your guest have a great time, hire Jordan!

Jesse is an amazing DJ! He was the DJ for our wedding this past weekend and kept the dance floor packed the entire night! We have received so many positive compliments from our guests, even those who are DJs themselves. He took the time to check in with us several times throughout the night to make sure things were going well and adjusted the set list to fit in seamlessly with how the event was progressing. We even had a few unique requests that he had no issue with incorporating. We can't thank him enough for his professionalism, positive demeanor, and impressive skills as a DJ. Maryland's DJ was a great choice for a wedding DJ! Jordan was very helpful in finding out exactly what we wanted our wedding to be like and he matched us with a perfect DJ for the job. Super reliable

Jordan was an amazing DJ, totally accommodating to all of our weird and fun music requests and it was so nice to have someone familiar with our venue and knew exactly what needed to be done with lighting to make our plan B ceremony look beautiful despite the rain. I didn't have to worry about a thing, he was super thorough when running through the plan with us which even helped me get a good grasp of what to expect.

These guys are absolutely great. They helped us set everything up and walked us through each step, add on, and requirement. Steve knocked it out of the park with his set and we had a night we will always remember. Thank you Jordan and Steve!

Jordan was the best DJ we could've hoped for at our wedding! He was super responsive in the planning stages ahead of the big day, and was quick to accommodate all of our crazy last minute changes. DJ Brian was amazing. About a month before the third planned wedding was to take place, we found ourselves without music for the day (#thankscovid). A friend of a friend has worked with Jordan, recommended him, and within 20 minutes, we had a scheduled phone call to work out details with our unique wedding day. Not only were Jordan and Brian professional and amiable, but they were incredibly flexible with the insanity (& forgetfulness!) of this exhausted bride. Finally, DJ Brian found an indescribable way to play a beautiful blend of Egyptian & country music... I never would have imagined that’s possible! Packed dance floor all night!

We worked with DJ Brian and he had the dance floor absolutely packed all night!! He nailed our classic dinner music and then seamlessly transitioned it into the most fun dance party ever! We even told him to forget our must play list because he could read the crowd that well. 10/10!!!

This review is for Steve with Maryland’s DJ. Steve was our wedding DJ for an event at the Chesapeake Bay and has our highest recommendation due to his profound professionalism. Steve was extremely personable and communicative throughout the entire process and provided his skills to accommodate special requests for song edits and musical queues during ceremony events. He was exceedingly knowledgeable on all aspects of audio engineering, noise considerations and acoustics for outdoor events, and venue-specific accommodations as he had frequented our selected location. The music selection system was an easy to use, web based application that streamlined the song selection process and provided valuable insight into music considerations, meeting time constraints, and accounting for key wedding objectives. We highly recommend Maryland’s DJ for other wedding events to any interested parties.

Fantastic!

Having Jordan as our wedding DJ was an absolute delight. The first time we ever spoke to Jordan, it was for close to an hour as he laid out his experience as a DJ, particularly with weddings, and answered all of our questions about why we should consider hiring him. Since that initial interview, Jordan was always available to us via phone, text, or email, often responding within the hour, and was happy to answer the most trivial of questions that we had. Jordan prepared thoroughly before the wedding, sending us a detailed questionnaire, schedule, and song list to complete, to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. And we met via video chat a couple weeks before the wedding just to talk everything over and iron out any remaining details. At the wedding itself, Jordan was terrific. He arrived early. He coordinated with our other vendors and the staff at the venue to set up his equipment so that we weren't disturbed. He made introductions, provided announcements, and, of course, kept the dance floor grooving for the entire night. Not to mention, the photo booth that we reserved through Maryland's DJ was a massive hit with our guests! Everything unfolded seamlessly. On top of all the things I mentioned above, Jordan is quite simply a genuine, friendly, and easygoing person. My wife and I liked talking to and interacting with him. He made our lives a little less hectic while planning a wedding in the midst of the ongoing pandemic: no small feat. Maryland's DJ has a strong recommendation from us, and a tremendous thank you, Jordan, for all your hard work!

We wished the reception could keep going forever!

We couldn't be happier to have Maryland's DJ at our wedding reception. In the beginning, Jordan helped guide us through their offerings to help us select the best options for our big day. The photo booth and lighting we selected were great additions to the venue - the photo booth was a star of the night. Their online system to input details and choose songs was easy to use and much appreciated. Then we worked closely with Mike Q on the details for the night itself - event schedule, song lists, introductions, etc. Simply put: Mike Q rocked our reception! He played the songs we requested and filled the rest of the evening with songs that matched with our vibe. He had a great pulse on the crowd and knew when to switch up to play some of the slow dances we requested. Our guests were thrilled and were dancing the entire night - we had multiple people tell us afterwards specifically that we had a great DJ. All in all, I would highly recommend Maryland's DJ and specifically Mike Q to make sure you have a great wedding reception.

Working with Maryland's DJ was seamless and Steve was awesome! It was super simple to have an introductory conversation and Steve was amazing to work with from the start-- he has great energy and listened to what we were looking for in a DJ and for what vibe we wanted for the reception. The portal they use was super helpful and easy to use for planning. Steve was great on the day of and helped make sure that the dance floor was full the entire night! The photo booth was also super fun and all of our guests were raving about it the next morning. Highly recommend MD's DJ!

Maryland's DJ is amazing in Virginia too

From the interview and booking experience early on, to the online portal and various check in meetings, we were confident Maryland's DJ would do a great job. And on the day of the wedding, they nailed it. Steve H was amazing as an emcee and DJ; he kept things flowing smoothly throughout the night, and all of our guests kept telling us how great the music was. We would definitely recommend the photo booth and lighting packages as well. A great experience all around.

We loved Laz and DJ John, they kept the energy high all night and were respectful/flexible of how we wanted the timeline to work!!

Did a great job reading the crowd for what music was played and had everyone up and dancing

We had an amazing experience with our DJ Mike Q. Before we even chose to hire Maryland's DJ, he invited us out to see him perform which we HIGHLY recommend to any couple looking for a DJ. We got to see his style and read the energy in the room. Our wedding reception could not have gone any smoother. He checked in with us before and after big moments and made sure we were comfortable at all times (including being down to cut some dances short if needed). We really appreciated this because being in front of hundreds of people can be a LOT. His MC skills are top tier and the dance floor was PACKED ALL NIGHT LONG! He played all of our special requests and built off the list we gave him perfectly, even taking requests from our guests. He started amping up the energy during dinner so by the time the dance floor opened everyone was ready to party. We are still getting complements from guests about the music and atmosphere of the reception, thanks to our awesome DJ. THANK YOU SO MUCH MIKE Q!!!

We hired Maryland's DJ for our wedding and I cannot recommend them enough! For those of you who like more control over the type of music played, Maryland's DJ's portal has an excellent layout in which you could list your favorite songs to suit any mood, or different phases of the night, and the DJ we got, Mike Q, did an absolutely excellent job mixing it all together! Great DJ for our wedding day

DJ Harvey was the best!! He met with us multiple times before our wedding to be clear of the timeline and what we wanted our music to be like. At the event he was a great MC and was able to match music to our group to keep everyone on the dance floor. Even as the rain hit he was positive, and was able to move his equipment, as well as adjust our timeline on the fly to keep the party going. Harvey is the best, we would definitely recommend him.

Our photographer referred us to Jordan and we couldn’t be happier that she did! He was extremely helpful and always there when we had any questions, especially with having to change our date due to COVID. The lighting was absolutely amazing and the photo booth was a complete hit. I don’t think there was a single moment the dance floor was empty once dinner was over, besides the cake cutting. Jordan covered a lot of genres of music so there was a little bit of everything for everyone in attendance. The night flowed seamlessly and we knew we were in good hands throughout!

Packed dance floor

We are so happy we worked with Maryland’s DJ for our September 2023 wedding. They were extremely responsive and offered insight/suggestions when asked. Steve Hartka was our DJ and he was outstanding. The dance floor was packed the entire reception! Multiple guests told us how great our music was and they couldn’t believe they danced the entire reception. We are so happy with our experience and definitely recommend this company to any couple who wants to have a packed dance floor!

Jordan is beyond amazing and is truly one of the best DJs I think I've ever come across. I met him years ago when he was just starting out and remembered him being good. I kept his info because I thought maybe one day I would have a need for a DJ? Fast forward 5 years later, I got engaged and he was the first person who came to mind when we deciced to go with a DJ instead of a band. My now husband and I went to meet with him and to get a preview of what he could do and both of us were blown away. We signed our contract that same day. The entire year and a half we were engaged, I was constantly telling people how excited I was about our DJ and how I knew he would make our wedding one of the best parties our guests had ever been to. Our big day finally arrived and Jordan totally delivered. From ceremony into late-night, he knew exactly what we wanted and nailed it. At the reception we pretty much gave him the freedom to play what he thought would keep the party going and he kept it classy but oh so fun! Book him, you won't be disappointed.

Best Day Ever! What Jordan did for our wedding day is speechless! From day one he gave us the feeling that he was dedicated to making our day the best day we could ever imagine. It was crazy how after a simple 5 minute phone call he was able put together a demo session that had us geeked for our special day! Through this tough year of planning, Jordan has remained supportive, flexible, and always ready to start the party!! We chose to downsize our 2020 wedding and MD DJ worked with us ever step of the way to adjust to our schedule. The ‘Minimony’ package was perfect this year, I can’t wait to have Jordan host our big reception party in 2021!!

Laz & John were amazing, they had the dance floor packed all night long at our wedding! They interacted with the guests and were the life of the party. Highly recommend them for any event! We are thankful we booked with a company like Maryland's DJ. The original DJ we were paired with had last minute health issues and was swapped out the day before. The owner, Jordan, made sure Laz & John were up to speed and able to deliver a seamless experience on our wedding day (easy to do with the great online portal and planning forms they use for their clients).

The BEST DJ in town!

Jordan is phenomenal. I couldn't have picked a better DJ. From the in-person demonstration to get a feel for our music taste to the amazing communication and website he has setup that asks you all the right questions about your special day. No one can get the party going like he can and if he can get my 80 and 90 year old grandparents to get up from their seats he must be doing something right! If you're looking for the best DJ in town that's going to take care of you, run the show and leave all of your guests asking for his contact info then look no further than Maryland's DJ!

Hands down the best money you’ll spend

I don’t even know where to start. Steve undoubtedly made our wedding night the amazing party that it was. My husband and I have a wide variety when it comes to taste in music. Steve found a way to play everything we wanted at the perfect time. They’re planning portal made it super easy to make sure Steve knew exactly what we wanted and didn’t want played. When it came time to dancing, I don’t think there was ever a time that the dance floor was empty. I still don’t have a voice from all the singing we did. Everyone keeps telling us that it was the most fun they’ve had in a long time and that Steve was the best DJ! He even got my dad to dance which If you knew him, you’d know is no small feat. All in all, our wedding day was absolutely perfect and the party we dreamed of- all thanks to Steve and Maryland’s DJ.

We got married on 10/12 and Brian was easy to work with, consultative when necessary, and a great time at our wedding. He made our experience stress free and our group had a great time. Highly recommend!
